Okey, so in an attempt to get accepted into the sphere they prefix with “blogo” I accept the tag from Atle in a kind of chain-blogging-event that’s hot and hip just now. Thank you Atle for acknowledging me as a fellow blogger! I will probably have many of the same issues on finding fellow bloggers and will relapse into a bloggers-cyclic-graph:)
Enough with the contextual reference, get to the point!
- Pick up the nearest book.
- Open on page 123.
- Find the fifth sentence.
- Post the next three sentences.
- Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged you.
As it is approaching the end of May and exams are knocking on the door I pick up:
“Conceptual Modelling in Information Systems Engineering” John Krogstie, Andreas L. Opdahl and Sjaak Brinkkemper
The Roles of Modelling
Today’s enterprises and IT systems are facing an increasingly complex environment characterized by collaboration, variety, and change. Enterprises are becoming more and more dependent on their business networks. In order to cope with the tasks they cannot handle alone, enterprises need to collaborate with others in ever changing constellations. Organisations are experiencing ever more variety in their business, including products, customers, and enterprise infrastructure. Organisations have to manage an environment that is constantly changing and where lead times, product life cycles, and partner relationships are shortening.
Well, that was fun:) The book is a compilation of articles and the quote is from: “The Role of Business Models in Enterprise Modelling – Paul Johannesson”
So, no for the sad part – my fellow bloggers:) Well I have to be uncreative; Magnus, Atle (entering the cycle), Peter Gitmark, All participants to Terra Incognita… and to the more implicit bloggers participating at postsecret.com. I recognize that the fellow “bloggers” consists of two general blogs, and that was probably not the intended intention, however, blogging is somewhat all about expressing ones own creativity – there you go:)
Quick idea: Can someone make a graph of this, documenting who is the responsible, and see how many levels of friend-friend relationship one has to go, before creating a complete cycle? =)
